Hey! I’m Quierra

(since we’re friends now, you can call me Q)

I used to be a card carrying member of the “try harder, keep pushing, work more” camp.

I’d buy all the planners, learn all the productivity hacks, and have a million to-do lists everywhere to try and “make the most of my time” + stay on track.

I threw away SO much time:

  • Stressing out about things I didn’t even care about

  • Worrying about what other people thought of me + what I “should” be doing

  • Using other people’s success as proof that I wasn’t good enough

  • Resenting other people for not making themselves miserable the way I was

I was burned out and overwhelmed.

I had panic attacks from living in constant fear that something was wrong with me because I just couldn’t seem to “get it together”.

Finally, I asked myself one important question:

What if the purpose of productivity wasn’t about getting more shit done? What if it’s actually about having time to do the things you really want to do?

So I started experimenting with doing less.

I set boundaries. I started saying No. I put myself first for the first time ever (which was terrifying!)

And you know what happened?

I started getting better results- with EVERYTHING.

Every single thing I did started working, because I now had the time and the energy to show up to my life the way I really wanted to.

Things in my life started to drastically change for the better- including my relationships. All because I started using productivity to do less, better.

It IS possible for you to have time for the things you really want to do. You can start small, you can start today, and I can help.

If that all sounds good, and you’re wondering if Tribe Table is the right place for you, then check out the Tribe Values. They basically make up the whole vibe around here!

1. Freedom is Everything

Everyone deserves freedom. But we also all define freedom differently. It’s up to you to decide what freedom means to you, and go after building as much of it into your life as you possibly can!

2. Build REAL success

If you’re doing “all the right things” on paper, but you’re feeling lost, burned out, or resentful, then it’s time to go back to the drawing board + be honest about what you really want. It’s not real success if you’re miserable.

3. What you appreciate, appreciates

Creating new results in your life requires investing your energy, time, and attention into making them happen. You have to be fully committed to growing yourself with the belief that it all comes down to you. Always. Because at the end of the day, it’s YOU that you’re fighting for.

4. It just isn’t that serious

Sure, building the life you want is hard. It will challenge you in a million different ways. All your doubt, fear, and mind trash WILL come up. And also, most of us tend to make it a whole hell of a lot harder for ourselves than it needs to be! Learning to have fun + enjoy the journey will lead you to more magic than you ever thought possible!

If all this sounds good to you, let’s get started!

Fun Facts:

When I’m not geeking out about mindset + motivation, you can find me dancing (probably to Beyoncé), getting way too excited about all things Harry Potter, out in my garden trying to keep plants alive, or buried in blankets with a good book. I live in California with my husband Andrew and our rescue pit bull Remus (aka Remy).
